Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo Review

The one thing I always disliked about having dark or black hair, is the fact it looks dirty fairly quickly. I could wash my hair in the morning and by night, it would feel and look a bit greasy. The one thing I loved when I had blonde hair was that you would never know when it was getting greasy.

I've been noticing that my hair gets oily very fast, and I absolutely hated the idea of having to wash my hair everyday just so it would look clean. Having long hair could really be a pain in the ass to take care of, and the last thing I want to do is spend time washing it so often.

I've heard nothing but great things about the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo, so I decided to give it a shot, despite the steep price. This travel size is what I went with first from Sephora for $14. I figured, if I love this, I will pick up a full size can.

Claims: Living Proof PHD dry shampoo claims to absorb oil, sweat, and odor, allowing you to have fresh, clean hair. You could use this product without the worry of residue build-up or the gross white powder left by some dry shampoos out there. It also claims to have odor neutralizers to eliminate unwanted smells.

Let me get straight to the point. It freaking works. This shit (pardon my language) is amazing. I've tried many dry shampoos in the past, and this is it. This is my holy grail. Despite the price for a full sized can ($27), this stuff is awesome. I don't want to be TMI but I didn't wash my hair for a week, and only used this on days my hair felt/looked super disgusting. It did wonders on my hair. My hair looked clean! I have to be honest, obviously it didn't look like I showered kind of clean, but it was clean and bearable until I did shower. One week was obviously pushing it, but I just wanted to see how long I could go without washing my hair, and only use dry shampoo. The product definitely absorbed all traces of oil, and left my hair feeling dry and smelling fresh. The scent is very nice and I didn't see any residue in my hair after brushing it out. If you spray too close of course it will leave a white powder finish, so brush out or shake off your hair and it looks good as new.
