L'oreal Fibralogy Review

That was officially the longest hiatus that I've done on this blog. 12 days! Sorry friends, but I am finally back. I would have been back on Monday but silly me forgot my camera at my boyfriend's house, so I couldn't upload photos to edit for this blog post. I got the great opportunity to test and review the L'oreal Fibralogy line, for free, courtesy of Influenster. If you want to be a member of Influenster and receive awesome FREE products to test out, see my previous Influenster post, where I got a freaking Keurig 2.0 K500 ALL FOR FREE. I also talk about how Influenster works and all that jazz. Now on to the review!

Now let me start by saying how skeptical I was about this product. I mean a product that can thicken my hair after I use it? I have no care what so ever about hair products. I think I've mentioned it in the past, I don't care about my hair nor do I style it or care what I use on it. The only thing that I worry about is if the shampoo and conditioner will leave my hair feeling soft and tangle free. Otherwise, I don't care about fancy shampoos and conditioners.

L'oreal Fibralogy Shampoo, Thickening Booster, and Conditioner
I got the chance to try out these three products. In the Fibralogy line, there is also a hair mask which you could use in place of the conditioner.

What was inside the box.

The shampoo:
On the website it states that after one wash your hair feels thicker, and after 5, it will be thicker. You apply a small amount of the shampoo to your hair, and wash as you normally do. I enjoyed the scent of the shampoo, don't really know what the scent would be, but it doesn't smell very chemically or anything. I do wish it lathered a lot more than it did, I'm a fan of super lathery shampoos.

Thickening Booster:
Now this is the product you want to use if you need that extra thickening to your hair. This product contains the highest concentration of "filloxane" which is what makes your hair thicker. You're suppose to use this 2x a week for intensive treatment, or once a week for regular treatment. To be honest, I used this every time I showered with the shampoo and conditioner (because I forgot I wasn't suppose to use it every time). Well, the good news is, my hair is fine. I wash my hair every other day, so there didn't seem to be a problem.

After shampooing and rinsing your hair, you're suppose to apply a small amount of this all over your head, and without rinsing, apply the conditioner on top of it. Do I believe this product did anything to my hair? I'm not sure. I'll let you know at the end of my review my thoughts on the whole line.

The conditioner:
Usually it's the conditioner that sells me if I will continue to use a product line or not. This conditioner does wonders to my hair. My hair is a hot mess and gets super tangly. This stuff does a wonderful job getting my hair detangled and keeps it feeling silky smooth.

So did it work?
I think it did? My hair doesn't look noticeably different, but it sure feels different. My hair usually dries very poofy and wavy, but recently it's been drying pretty straight, like it's heavier or something. I don't think there's a super huge difference in thickness, but my hair definitely feels like it's gained a little weight.

Will I repurchase?
Yes! The product seems to work well on my hair, and it does seem to have made a difference in thickness. It may not be noticeable to the naked eye, but I can feel the difference in my hair thickness. The thickening booster through, I'm not too sure if that made a difference, or maybe all the products worked together to thicken my hair. I guess I'll have to do some experimenting!
