Literally, Toronto jumped from summer to 10 seconds of fall, to winter. Ugh, why. Fall is my ultimate favourite season. Do you know why? Because sweaters, beanies, burgundy clothing, scarves, Thanksgiving, Halloween, candy, and everything about it basically. We can't forget the reason for this review too! Fall colours! This includes fall lipstick shades, of course.
I got another wonderful opportunity to work with Arbonne, and this time, I got my hands on some lipsticks! They were kind enough to even send me some fall shades too, so sweet! I love wearing deep berries and dark shades for the fall, so this was just too perfect.
At first glance, I thought Iris would be my favourite shade of the colours I was given. Unfortunately, though a beautiful shade, I just didn't like how it looked on me!
The texture of the lipstick is to die for. Absolutely silky smooth, and it felt super comfortable on. The one thing I didn't like about this on me, was how shiny it was. Not a huge fan of super glossy lipsticks!
When I saw this shade, I didn't have much expectations for it, as I felt it looked like any pale/nude pink I owned.
Boy was I wrong. It's actually completely different from any pinks/nudes I own (and I own A LOT)!! Aster is a gorgeous dusty berry shade, with a hint of pink. I absolutely LOVE this colour so much.
I've never been a huge fan of lip liners, but I decided to give this one a shot. The Arbonne lip liner is one of the twist up ones, which is convenient to those who don't always have a sharpener handy.
The liner did an alright job filling in my lips, and the berry colour itself is warm and very pretty.
The colour itself looks awesome on its own, but it can look a little patchy when you have dry spots.
I found that the lip liner and Aster looked amazing together.
Do you love berry toned lipsticks for fall?
These products were sent to me for reviewing and testing purposes.
All opinions are my own.
