Bioderma Atoderm Nourishing Cream Review

Howdy howdy friends. The last Bioderma product I'll be reviewing for a while *tear* (until I get my hands on the cleansing milk heheh). This was the last item in my wonderful Bioderma care package. Lets be honest here though. As grateful as I was to receive these products to try out, I wasn't too thrilled about this one. Not because it is a bad product, but because the description itself made it feel like it wasn't meant for me!

What is it you ask? This is the Bioderma Atoderm Nourishing Cream, which I will be giving my true and honest opinions on today. The reason why I wasn't thrilled about trying this is because it's targeted for dry to very dry sensitive skin. I have sensitive but super oily skin. It doesn't mean I didn't give this product a shot though!

So lets dig into this review. Just because I have oily skin on my face, doesn't mean I couldn't have used this cream on my body right? The first area I decided to target was my legs. Because the weather was warming up in Toronto, I decided maybe it's time to shed the winter fur (I haven't shaved my legs since last summer LOL, don't worry my legs are surprisingly not hairy at all) and shave my legs. My legs were super dry from the cold winter months, and this product instantly got rid of the dryness. I loved that it wasn't very heavy even though it's called a cream. The consistency is very light like a lotion, but not too watery like a cleansing milk. It dries superbly fast which is great when you're on the go. There's a definite scent to it. It has that standard "lotion" smell if you know what I'm talking about.

I did try some of this on my face as well. Verdict? It was okay. It worked great controlling the dryness on my dry spots, but it definitely was a no go for my oily t-zone. When I am at home, and not wearing make-up, I don't mind applying this cream on after washing my face, to regain the moisture I stripped away. Not the best moisturizer for me before I put on a face full of make-up though.

I would like to thank Jennifer again from Cabinet PR for sending me these Bioderma products to try. A whole new world of skin care products was definitely brought upon me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have tried things I would've never thought to purchase.

Have you tried anything from Bioderma?
