Being an Instagram and beauty addict, you find out about lots of trends that come and go over the internet. One of the main beauty ones on Instagram would probably have to be fiber lashes/mascara. Now this isn't the exact one that everyone's talking about on Instagram, but it's awesome, if not better.
I got a chance to try these Mia Adora 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara through Tomoson. Now, this is the first time I've ever tried fiber lashes so I had no expectations for this product.
The product comes in a rather sturdy cardboard material box, with a magnet closure for the lid.
Inside, you get the magnifying gel, which acts as a mascara, glue, and sealer for the fiber lashes. You also receive a second tube which is full of the fibers that go on your lashes.
It takes a lot of time, and many steps to achieve super long, luscious looking lashes, but using it a few times made application a lot easier.

My "everyday" eye look.
This is what my lashes look everyday. It takes a while for me to achieve this look because I like to try and get mascara on every single lash of mine. First step of course is to curl my lashes. Then, I start off with my Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara (sample size) which helps separate and lengthen my lashes. I then apply my favourite lashes which are the Kiss ever ez lashes in #11, but I cut the lashes in half and stack the inner corner on top of the outer corner. This then makes corner lashes! I actually started hating wearing falsies recently, and this was the only way I could achieve long, beautiful lashes without the annoyance of full falsies. Once the corner lashes are on, I then apply a generous coat of Urban Decay's Perversion mascara. I choose to use this mascara because of its intensity, and it's super wet and really helps my real lashes blend in with the false ones.
No mascara on.
My lashes used to be really short and lame, but somehow, they've really grown out a decent length!
No mascara but curled.
Surprisingly, they look pretty long and natural.
Step One:
Apply your favourite mascara.
Mascara on the left eye, none on the right.
The Lancome mascara enhances my lash length a bit, but not dramatically.
With two coats of Mia Adora Fiber Lashes on top.
On my left eye, I then applied the magnifying gel from root to tip about 20 times, ensuring my lashes were coated. I then applied the fiber lashes 15 times and waited 20 seconds before applying the magnifying gel again 20 times to set it. I repeated this step again because I wanted my lashes to look super thick and falsies like.

The verdict: It really works! I feel like it really did achieve the falsies look without wearing falsies. This is a huge, amazement to me because I love the look of falsies, but I absolutely hate wearing them. Now the fiber lashes need some getting use to because it does take a bit of practice to get the look you want, but it's worth a shot if you hate wearing falsies.
For contact lens wearers, it didn't bother my eyes at all. As long as you seal the fibers on well with the magnifying gel, you shouldn't have to worry about the fibers falling into your eyes.

Damn, the difference a new foundation makes too haha. Anyways, the eyes look fairly similar and one is only achieved with fiber mascara! With the fiber mascara my eyes aren't weighted down with the falsies, and I can skip the annoyance of having to glue and re-adjust the lashes a few times before I get it right.
