This is definitely not the first time you're going to hear me say this. 2015 is the year of the liquid lipsticks. Here we are today with another review of liquid lipsticks, but compared to my previous liquid lipstick review on the Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks, this one is a lot more affordable AND longwearing.
Though these are technically lips stains, the Rimmel Provocalips ($9.99 CAN) lip colours are freaking the best lip products I've ever used.
With 10 shades to choose from, I went with two at first because the other colours didn't appeal much to me. After using these, I definitely will be picking up more shades. One end has the colour, while the other end has the lip balm. To apply, you put the lip colour first, wait 60 seconds for it to dry, and then apply the balm.

The tube for this colour comes off as a coral colour, but it is quite the nude pink, which I am obsessed with.

A gorgeous deep red. And what's awesome about it? It's not transferable what so ever. This stuff stays on when you eat, drink, kiss, and what ever your little heart desires. The only thing that comes off is the lip balm of course.
This stuff does not budge all day. I hate having to reapply my lipstick every few hours. With this lip colour, you just have to apply the colour once, and reapply the lip balm everytime you feel a bit dry. This is the formula that everyone needs to get on. I've never had a lip stain or liquid lipstick last this long or have so much difficulty removing. If you do need to remove it though, the best way to do it is with an oil based make-up remover. I'm telling you guys, this is one beauty trend that is up and coming, and it's one that my pockets are going to be crying about because I'm going to be broke.
Are you loving this "liquid lipsticks" beauty trend?
If you want a full video review on these lip products, my cousin did an awesome youtube video and demonstration of its longevity on her channel.
Where did you find these??? I've been looking everywhere! Thanks for reviewing, these were the two shades I was most interested in.
ReplyDeleteWhoa that deep red is INSANE. So gorgeous :)

These look gorgeous! I need to pick some up, as I'm in the same boat with you about hating to re-apply lip color throughout the day!
