Too Faced: Cause a Scandal Set ($79)
Ta-da! My Sephora haul, or should I say Too Faced haul? So the set actually comes with everything EXCEPT the Melted lipstick. This set comes with an eyeshadow palette, eyeshadow primer, an eyeliner and mascara, for the great price of $79 bucks. That is actually a steal considering most of the products are about 20-30 dollars on their own.
The palette itself is described as a palette used to create "looks for the bedroom and beyond". Well, awks I'm not going to be using it for the bedroom, but just to create soft and sultry eye looks.
This palette comes with 3 fairly large portions of shadows, and 6 smaller ones. Its a mixture between matte and shimmer shadows in the palette. It also comes with a booklet with instructions to create 3 different looks with the palette.
Here are the rest of the items that came with the Cause a Scandal set:
Honestly, I only paid with tax, $90 for all these products? I also got the VIB 15% off for the sale, but if you were to buy all these items separately, you'd be paying over $130! This set was definitely worth the money and you get products known to work very well with a new palette.
The last product I received was exclusive for VIB's who were making a purchase online I think on the first day of the 15% off sale.
The shade I got was exclusive to VIB members and it was called "melted candy" but it honestly looks exactly the same as the fuchsia one that I linked above. Its a gorgeous lipstick colour, that I was wearing for my Urban Decay Electric Palette Review.
Now on to my favourite part of buying anything from Sephora, besides the make-up itself.. samples!
Since my birthday is in the month of April, it's actually in two days (April 18) I decided to get my birthday gift online!
This year Sephora was offering a Make Up For Ever birthday gift, which comes in a cute little box.
In your birthday gift you receive the MUFE Smoky Extravagant Mascara ($28 for full size) and a mini version of the MUFE Rouge Artist Natural in N9 Copper Pink ($23 FS)
When purchasing from Sephora online, you have the option to pick 3 samples, which I did and also received another sample free too!
The first sample I chose was the Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Polish ($38 for full size)
The next sample I chose was the Kat Von D Unlock-it Makeup Remover Wipes ($18 for full size) I'm actually super excited to try this because I use make-up remover wipes everyday, and if these are amazing, I wouldn't mind spending the money for a great product.
The next product which I am also excited about was the Benefit Big Easy Liquid to Powder Foundation ($46 for full size). I've been wanting to try this product since it seems like it would be a good lightweight foundation for the summer.
I think this was a generous sample considering you get all six of the available shades to try!
The last sample I got was the extra sample and I did not choose this, Sephora just put it in my box, which is awesome!
It was a sample of the D&G Light Blue Perfume ($31-$110 for travel/full size)
If you haven't noticed a trend already on my blog, shopping at Sephora is probably one of my favourite things to do, so I hope you don't get annoyed of my Sephora hauls! Look forward to a brand spotlight (brand review) on Too Faced cosmetics coming soon!
Do you have a blog or Youtube channel? If so, link it down below! I would love to see your content!
Awesome stuff! I've loved the natural eyes kit from TF and the shadows are just so buttery and pigmented! I've love to grab that MUFE kit from you too! I don't have a youtube as I love taking my time writing and posting. Just not a video girl, I like writing my post while in bed or in my PJs!
