Hello friends. This is the first time in a long time that I will be reviewing a subscription box service, ever since I left Ipsy and Topbox. I decided it was time to try a new subscription box service, but switch it up a little bit. I'm currently on a roll with healthy eating, so I decided why not enjoy some healthy snacks while I try and lose weight. I've heard many great things about Naturebox, many of them from one of my favourite Youtube families, The Shaytards. I've watched them religiously for 4 years, and Naturebox was one of the brand deals they had that really stuck with me.
Naturebox is a subscription service where you get sent a box of snacks every month (or every few months depending on what you decide). These snacks are wholesome, healthy and supposedly delicious. What I love about Naturebox is the option to skip a month if you're just not feeling snacks for the month. You get the option to choose what snacks you want in your box, or you can just let them choose for you so it's all a surprise. They also have different box sizes which means how many snacks you get in each box. The standard one is 5 different snacks for $19.95USD, 3 snacks for $13.95USD, 10 snacks for $29.95USD, and 20 snacks for $49.95USD. I chose to have 5 snacks for $19.95, basically making it $4 a bag. That can seem a bit pricey for snacks, but if you're getting healthy, wholesome snacks, I mean, why not right? I probably spent $20+ a month on junk food before, so this isn't a problem for me!
This review will be on the trial box (which you only pay around $5 for shipping for) and a full sized Naturebox. I'm going to start off by talking about their customer service. Amazing. I purchased the trial size box because I wanted to try out Naturebox first before I decided to commit. They were suppose to send me the trial box first, and then charge me for a full sized box in about 2 weeks. Because I ordered the trial box on the 28th of May, I guess on the 1st of June there was a system glitch, and they automatically charged me for my first box already, before I even got the trial box. I emailed them and they replied in one day. They refunded me the money but since they already sent out the box, I got my first full sized box for free. Kudos to Naturebox for the super friendly and helpful customer service!
As I go over the snacks, I will be ranking out of 5, 1 being gross/will not repurchase, 3 being maybe or maybe not, and 5 being awesome/I will rebuy!
Naturebox Free Trial Box (you just pay for shipping)
Inside the free trial box, all the snacks you receive are picked at random. Upon ordering the trial box, they email you a confirmation and they let you know what you're getting inside the one serving bags. For the one full sized snack bag you get, that remains a surprise until it arrives, I was a bit disappointed to see that all the small snack bags weren't products I was hoping for, but this opened my eyes to a world of new snacks I never would have tried.
A nice welcome message.

Their promise to you:
My full sized surprise bag: Dark Cocoa Nom Noms
I had a feeling that I wouldn't like these because I'm not the biggest fan of dark chocolate. Surprsingly the cocoa taste isn't too overwhelming, and this snack is very filling after eating just two. I found these to be a great quick breakfast when I am in a rush.

The most delicious tasting corn chips I've ever had. I love that these are nice and salty and full of flavour. Better than regular chips in my opinion. These are one of my favourites in the trial box.

I am a huge fan of spice but not of cashews. I hate cashews. It's probably my least favourite nut. I gave these to my brother and he absolutely loves them. I probably would of enjoyed it more if it were an almond or a peanut.

I dove into this snack without high expectations, and I'm glad I did. Me and my brother tested all the snacks I received and I told him that this tasted like a sad Fruit Gusher haha. Don't get me wrong, it's actually quite delicious! They taste a bit like Fruit Gushers but less sweet, and just as satisfying.

I thought this was the weirdest thing that came in my box, but to my surprise, it was one of the most delicious. The sweet blueberry taste surprisingly pairs well with the nutty almond flavour. Who knew?

On to the full sized box: I received the 5 snack box that is $19.95USD.
Jam packed with goodies.
I knew I had to get this in my first Naturebox because of Shay Carl. I had way too high of expectations for this snack because it was just okay for me. The pineapple rings were a bit too hard/chewy for my liking, and it just doesn't beat the flavours of a fresh pineapple. Well, at least now I know!

I added this bag onto my pantry because I read a Naturebox review saying that these were awesome. It's one of the weirdest indescribable tastes I've ever tasted. It's not bad, but I definitely don't love it. Once you have a few, it becomes a bit addicting and it's super hard to stop eating them. I don't know what to really say about it, definitely something worth trying though!

I am a HUGE fan of peanut butter so this won my heart over in a second. It has a very nice, strong peanut butter taste, and the oats definitely make you feel like you're eating a granola bar. My favourite go to snack for breakfast.

Probably one of the first figgy bars I've tried, and I am in love. The lemon taste isn't overpowering, and this bar is a great on the go snack for breakfast or lunch. Very similar to a Nutrigrain bar in my opinion, if not better.

This stuff is the bomb.com. Oh my god. It's 10 times better than the Peanut Butter Nom Noms because it feels like I'm eating chunks of peanut butter (which I do on some occasions). This is my favourite granola now to add to my strawberry yogurt in the morning. I love the bursts of peanut butter goodness in my greek yogurt. What a way to start a day.

Overal thoughts on my first boxes: I feel that these boxes are worth the value considering what you get and how much you get. Surprisingly I haven't been snacking much because of my diet, so I feel that once a month for 5 bags of snacks could be a little much for me. It'll probably take me a while to finish my supply of snacks now, unless I'm sharing them with my other family members. I may switch my subscription to every other month depending on how quickly I finish what I have. It's a nice change of scenery to have a food subscription rather than a beauty subscription. With Ipsy and Topbox, I found myself letting the products I receive just sit there and collect dust. With Naturebox, I am bound to eat the snacks because a majority of them I really enjoy. Will I be staying with them? Definitely for now!
Are you part of a monthly subscription box/service? Let me know all about it!
